Today I realized that I never actually published an introductory blog post.  Although I'm sure most of the people who would consider reading this blog probably already know me, there might be a few people who skim over it when they're bored who have never met me.  So I decided I could post some random facts about me.

1.  I love to travel.  This probably started because my dad is in the Army and we constantly moved around when I still lived at home.  One of my favorite places so far is Washington D.C.!  I absolutely love architecture and history, and this place combines the two wonderfully.  Also, we got to meet the sisters from the TLC show D.C. Cupcakes while we were there.  How cool is that?!  I'm sure that once I travel to Italy this summer I'll have a new favorite.  (;

2.  My mother somehow sneaked into my head and brainwashed me into liking scrapbooking and baking.  Yes, I have the same hobbies as my mother.  I enjoy taking pictures and scrapbooking them is a great way to display memories, so don't judge!  And baking is delicious, so that's my excuse for that.

3.  Don't worry.  Dad influenced me enough to love baseball.  Something about getting a ballpark hot dog and hearing the clink of a ball against a bat just makes me happy.  I have only been to a couple of MLB games, but I love going to the UNC games!  As part of my scholarship, I just had to go to Fenway Park.  Although I am a New York Mets fan (along with the NY Giants and NY Rangers, since I love the NFL and NHL as well), being at Fenway was such a great experience!  I even got to go out on the field.
P.S. I'm the one in the middle in the shorts!

4.  I am a sophomore at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and I could not have made a better choice.  My majors are communications and psychology.  I am a member of the Epsilon Gamma chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma, and I am extremely happy to be a sister.  I am going to study abroad in Rome, Italy, this summer thanks to a program that UNC offers.  So many opportunities have been given to me through this school, and I am beyond thankful for them.

My big and my grandbig on Big/Little Reveal!
5.  I have a sweet tooth.  There are four main food groups to me: brownies, gelato, anything with caramel, and chewy, fruity candies.  There's really not much else to say after that embarrassing confession...

I guess other things about me will appear throughout my blog.  Until then, I hope these are some interesting facts that will keep you entertained!
