Some of you might be wondering where I've been considering I haven't posted for about a week.  This thing called life happened, and I decided to just enjoy it instead of trying to blog about it.  Don't worry, I'll fill you in with highlights of the past week.

End of the semester: I took my last final on Tuesday, and I was so relieved to finally be done with this semester.  I ended up on the Dean's List with a 3.6 GPA, so I was pretty thrilled with that.  I start summer classes tomorrow, so I don't really have a summer vacation.  Luckily, I'm taking studio art classes to hopefully discover some hidden talent.
Dates with Paul: Paul came on Wednesday, and we started our dating that night by getting frozen yogurt and walking around campus.  We celebrated our three month mark on Thursday with delicious food from Old Chicago, and our favorite drinks from Starbucks.  We also tried to make breakfast, and the smoke detector yelled at us even though nothing was burning.  I actually ended up burning the pancakes while I was trying to make them stop.  On Friday we went to see the new Spider-Man, and it was such a rollercoaster of emotions.  We had a couple more outings on Saturday, when we went to a museum on campus during the day and then on a walk that night.

Mother's Day: Of course I called my mom.  I wish I could have been there with my family, but apparently growing up and doing adult stuff means I can't just go home whenever I please.  I'm so thankful for everything my mother has done for me, and I hope she gets her gift from me soon!
Art museum: Okay, so remember how like thirty seconds ago you read that I wanted to find a hidden talent?  Yeah... I don't even really "get" art.  Paul and I were entranced by some pieces, and actually ridiculously disturbed by other pieces.  I'm working on it, but sometimes I'm just so confused... I really enjoyed the museum, and I hope to get to some more museums soon.
New earrings: Paul bought me some gorgeous earrings, and I'm so in love with them.  I'm also so thankful for his kindness.  They're earrings that I've wanted for quite some time, and they're perfect accessories for summer.

New schedule: Since it's summer and I feel that it's a new time of my life, I'm ready to get on a schedule.  I have class every morning, work every afternoon, and I plan on going to exercise classes every night.  I hope that I can stick to this schedule because I think it'll be great for me.  I always want to get into a routine, and this seems like a great opportunity to do so.
