10 Facts About Me

12:00 AM

1 / Horoscopes have always interested me.  I used to read mine and my boyfriend's every day.  It sounds silly, but I liked knowing what I could expect to happen for both of us.  I don't believe that they're always accurate or necessarily true, but I think they're fun.

2 / Being left-handed is something that, as boring of a fact as it may sound, has always made me feel special.  People notice it and ask about it, which is kind of cool.  What isn't so cool is the fact that I smear ink everywhere...

3 / My ideal meal is an omelette made by my dad with cheese, ham, and bacon.  He makes the best omelettes!  Pair it with a couple slices of mom's homemade bread, and I would be in absolute heaven.

4 / There are currently two planners sitting on the nightstand right now, and both of them are mine.  I already had a Lilly Pulitzer one, but I wasn't totally in love with it - I wanted just a little more space to write.  Paul's brother and sister-in-law bought me one for Christmas (thank you!) that is not only adorable, but has the perfect amount of space for planning my day, meals, and to-do list.

5 / Everyone has what they call their comfort zone.  Mine happens to be in the library with coffee.  99% of the time I'm wearing yoga pants and a t-shirt, so that makes it physically comfortable as well.

6 / If I were you, I would never watch a movie with me.  I fidget around, I ask a ton of questions, and I honestly just don't have the attention span for them.  If I do watch them, I want to talk about everything that's happening and I emotionally react as if I were really in the situation.

7 / One thing that I've been consistently self-conscious about is my eyebrows.  I feel like I don't even have any, especially if I get a sunburn.  Someone please teach me how to fill-in my eyebrows with an eyebrow pencil.

8 / I'm sure I've mentioned it too many times to count, but I tend to be high-anxiety.  I've gotten a lot better over the years, but there are still some things that bother me that wouldn't bother a lower-anxiety individual.

9 / That whole saying about how sometimes it's the littlest things that mean the most to you is totally true.  My family and my boyfriend do so much for me, but some of my fondest memories include moments when they did something little that just showed that they not only care about me, but that they also know me.

10 / Dreams have always fascinated me, and when I was younger I interpreted my dreams to see what they meant.  I don't think they predict the future or anything mystical, but I do believe that they can tell us a lot about our subconscious feelings in relation to our current situations.
