6 Apps to Make Money

7:00 AM

I'm all about saving money, and I'm sure all of you are too.  I occasionally coupon, I always shop for deals, and I try to find apps that can save or make me money.  These 6 apps are the apps that I use to make money either through cashback offers or by converting points into various gift cards that I can then use at other places.  I definitely recommend checking out any of these apps, and if you do, then use the links in this post so I receive credit from companies that offer referral rewards.  It benefits both of us, and I promise that you'll love using them.
6. Checkout 51 - Use this app to receive money back from grocery store purchases.  I ranked this app last because even though it's simple to use, it doesn't have the best selection and it often rejects my receipts for no good reason.  I do like that sometimes it let's you choose your own offer, though!
5. Snap by Groupon - This is similar to Checkout 51, but it has more options.  What I really like about Snap is that they have several options to choose any kind of an item as opposed to specific brands.  The brands that they do have tend to be brands that I'm actually interested in, unlike Checkout 51.

4. ibotta - Another app like the previous two, but this is the best one.  This one is organized by what kind of items you are buying (i.e. groceries, electronics, etc.), and then again organized by store. Some offers are only at certain stores when others are found in more locations.  There are plenty of name brand offers, and offers that allow you to choose your own brand.  I think this is the most commonly used app, and they always have opportunities to earn more through teamwork.
3. Shopkick - This is a fairly unique app that I use.  You don't have to spend money to get money, which I love!  With shopkick, you can earn points by scanning barcodes for certain items, buying items, or even just walking into stores.  You can even earn points just by scrolling through their home feed of various products and clicking envelopes which hold points.  When you have enough points, you can convert them into gift cards!
2, Ebates - I'm sure all of you do a fair share of online shopping, so why not get cash back when you do?  Ebates gives you a percentage of your purchase back at select stores.  Every month you receive your check either in the mail or through PayPal, whatever you decide!  They have plenty of participating retailers, so it's worth checking out.
1. SwagBucks - It was hard to choose between Ebates and SwagBucks to determine which was my favorite, but SB ultimately wins because you don't have to make any purchases, but you can still earn plenty of points towards gift cards.  Seriously, it's amazing.  You can watch videos, answer survey questions, or complete special offers to earn your points.  Put as much or as little into it as you want!

Do you have any of these apps?  Any tips?

I was not compensated by any of these companies, I just genuinely like them.  Some, however, do offer bonus points or small amounts of money if people sign up using my referral code.
