preparing for tomorrow

Some people are morning birds, but I'm not one of them. I will hit snooze for as long as I possibly can and I'll do just about anything to get some extra sleep in the morning.  I've found that if I do some things the night before, I can sleep in and still prepare for the day ahead of me without feeling rushed.

It might sound a little childish, but picking out my outfit the night before is still something that helps me. If I don't do it, I panic because I don't know what to wear. This ultimately ends up with me wearing the same yoga pants as yesterday. Of course I also use my planner to figure out what tomorrow brings. Sometimes I keep a separate list of items that I need to do, depending on how busy the day will be. Another thing that really helps is packing my lunch at night so I can just grab it and go in the morning. If I'm making a breakfast drink I'll do the same thing with that as well.

The last thing that really helps me is to do my hair at night. I think the key to this is finding shampoo and conditioner that works for your hair type. I prefer something with oils in it so my hair stays smooth and shiny even after I sleep in it. Dessange Paris Oleo Miracle Replenishing shampoo and conditioner works really well, especially when I also use their Miracle Replenishing Oil. You can like Dessange on Facebook or follow them on Twitter.

How do you prepare yourself for a new day?

I received Dessange Paris Oleo Miracle Replenishing products from Influenster for testing purposes. All opinions are my own.
