restoring my skin

6:30 AM

Once upon a time I worked at a certain restaurant where all of the women were gorgeous and tan.  I think tanning was even encouraged, in a way, because we all had half-off tanning at a salon down the street.  I never thought I would try it, but between being the palest woman in the room and hoping tanning would help my depression, I did.  I tanned often for a couple months, stopped when I went to college, and then tanned a few times my sophomore and junior year.
I'm a naturally pale woman, and I've finally gotten used to that.  I've finally accepted it, mostly because I'm terrified of skin cancer and unhealthy skin.  I'm only 21, but I do worry about how my skin will feel and look later in life because of sun and tanning bed exposure.  Of course I use sunscreen when I know I'm going out in the sun for an extended period of time, but I've also learned to use products like Solvaderm Ace-Ferulic Skin Damage Restoration and Photo-Aging Defense Serum.  I put it on before I put on my makeup in the morning.  Yes, you can totally do that!  At first I was a little hesitant because I didn't like the smell, but I realized that it is because it's natural and that's a good thing.  Skin is so sensitive and so much can go wrong with it, so why not take extra precaution to be healthy and natural?

I received a sample of this product in exchange for an honest review.
