Oily Roots AND Dry Hair?

8:00 AM

That was always my hair problem growing up: I had extremely dry, frizzy hair and super oily roots.  It made no sense and it was frustrating because most products that I tried using would "fix" one issue while making the other worse.  My hair has balanced out a little bit, but these are still my two main concerns.

When Influentster and L'oreal sent me these new products for testing purposes, I was hesitant.  I was scared that I would try them out and just end up with hair that was either way too oily or super dry.  I actually ended up with pretty soft hair that smelled great and stayed fresh for longer than it normally does.  I generally wash my hair every other day, but I can add an extra day to that when I use these products.  I might be able to go a little longer if I use dry shampoo, but I haven't tried that yet.

My one critique of the products is that they did smell pretty strong.  They weren't necessarily overwhelming, but a little stronger and less pleasant than I'm used to.  Nothing bad enough to outweigh the other benefits, though.  I read some reviews that complained about the clay mask, but it's made out of clay so it's going to be a little thicker and less fluid than shampoo and conditioner usually are.

These products generally retail for $4.99 for the shampoo and conditioner and $6.99 for the mask.

Thank you to Influenster and L'oreal Paris for sending me these products for free in exchange for my honest review.  I love being able to discover new products and share them with y'all!
